There is something special about football under the floodlights, and on Friday 1st May, at Alwyn's Lane was no exception. It marked the final home match for our U18 Midweek team, concluding a season that brought a renewed sense of excitement and energy to our community, marking a new chapter for the Juniors Club and its talented young players.

This achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of so many.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone from the Juniors Club who played their part, both on and off the pitch. Special mention must go to Mark Turner, Chertsey Town’s Chairman, whose unwavering support has enabled us to create this opportunity, to play at Alwyns Land and providing the teams playing kit. Thanks also to Luke Sines and J&O Groundwork’s for their sponsorship of both our U18 teams this season. The dedication of our players, the encouragement from parents, and the commitment of our coaching squad have all helped create an atmosphere of growth and camaraderie.

Behind the scenes, countless hours have been spent organising, training, and nurturing the team spirit that defines our club. Parents have supported from the sidelines, helped with the turnstile and feeding hungry players after matches, coaches have inspired improvement, and the players themselves have shown remarkable determination and sportsmanship. It's been a season full of memorable moments, hard-fought victories, and lessons learned, laying the groundwork for future success.

As some of our U18 stars prepare to step into adult football, we wish them every success on their journey. Their achievements this season are testament to the strong foundation we've built together, a foundation that promises continued player development in a competitive, supportive environment.

Here's to the return of midweek football, to the Juniors Club family, and to a future filled with passion, progress, and plenty more nights under the lights!
